Wow we! We have a gig! It has been way to long since our last show, and our last updat on this website. We are playing club Dada Sunday 11/11/2007 for the first round of Bodog Battle of the bands. Please show your support for Dallas music and rock out with us! Tickets are $10 but well worth it. At least 12 bands are playing, so I am sure a good time will be had by all. Hope to see you all there.
In semi-related news - we will be updating the website in the next few weeks, so stay tuned for some bad ass designs form Sarah, out dedicated web designer!

We haven't been updating the web site much, but it's all for good reasons. We went to Chicago for the first round of the Bodog Battle of the Bands and won! We are heading off for round 2 in November. We also have a show at the end of the month with Ashmore at Bronco's in Hurst. Check the shows page for more details on each show. As a reminder, we update our myspace page more often than this site, so be sure to check it out for updates on the band.

Two new shows to announce: August 20th at the always
awesome Curtain Club here in Dallas, Texas; and September 6th at The Lakeshore
Theater in Chicago for Bodog Battle of the Bands! It will be our first show
outside of Texas, so we are pretty excited to get our music in front of an

DMF was pretty cool. We had a bad ass first performance
with Kevin, which included introducing two new songs. The turnout was great!
Thanks to everyone who made it.
Also, we have updated some of the pages on the site, and we will be making
some bigger changes soon, including finally adding more band pics!

Finally - our set time is in for DMF2006 - 9:00 PM @ The Galaxy Club on Saturday, January 28th. We also found out that Flickerstick will not be headlining. According to the DMF peeps they could not play the show. No matter - we will still rock the joint. See you all at the show!

Happy belated Holidays to everyone! We have some exciting
news for the New Year. First, Rick, Andy, and Mike would like to introduce
our new bass player Kevin Clay! We have known Kevin for a number of years
and he is a great fit for the band. Again, we all would like to thank Amanda
from Panic Value for filling in for us at our last few shows.
On to our second bit of news. We have been selected to play in the Dallas
Music Festival! The DMF is from January 26-28th at various clubs around Deep
Ellum. (It is similar to South By South West, only a little smaller.) As of
now, we are playing on Saturday the 28th at the Galaxy Club with Flickerstick!!!
To ensure that spot, we need to pre-sell a load of tickets, but if you buy
them early from us the cost is only $10! (Printed ticket price is $12) Each
ticket includes admission to each music venue every day of the festival. If
you want to buy tickets from us, just email us at band@dorisband.com
and we will make all the arrangements. You just can't beat this deal!

For those of you who did not know,
Ryan has decided to focus on school and is no longer with the band. We wish
him all the best. Amanda from Panic Value helped us out at our last show,
and will fill in when she can until we have a permanent replacement.
Our next show is Friday, Nov. 4th at
the Curtain Club, so come out and party with us!
